Enjoy the End of the World–For Free!

January 20, 2014 Free Book Giveaway Free Kindle Indie Publishing Post-Apocalypse Science Fiction 0

This week I’m celebrating the second anniversary of my foray into indie publishing. I hit the “publish” button on my first novel, Take Back Tomorrow, on January 24, 2012. While the venture hasn’t been a whirlwind success, it’s been extremely rewarding. I’ve followed that first book with two other full-length novels and two novellas, and I’ve gotten those books into the hands (or Kindles) of a lot of readers, many of whom have reached out to say how  much they enjoy my work. It’s a much better way to spend my time and energy than pitching agents and editors and building up my thick skin to deal with form rejections.

So, this week I’m giving back, offering some free books and some discounts every day.

First up is my latest release, The Girl at the End of the World. It’s a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel with YA appeal narrated by Scarlett Fisher, a fifteen-year-old girl who is one of very few survivors of a fast-moving plague. In the opening chapters, you get to see everything fall apart around Scarlett and then follow her as she figures out how to survive in an otherwise empty Los Angeles–well, empty except for all the bodies…and maybe one or two other survivors who may not be the kind of people she really wants to share the world with.

Normally, the book is $3.99 for Kindle, but for a limited time you can download your copy for FREE on Amazon.

At the same time, I’m going to be offering my two Ace Stubble novellas FREE for the entire week. Check here for details, and be sure to check back throughout the week as I announce my other discounts.

Thanks for reading!
